Sail the high seas in this delightful grown-up prequel to Peter Pan Peter and the Starcatcher is a play based on the 2006 novel of a similar name by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson, adapted for the stage by Rick Elice. Peter and the Starcatcher is a play that serves as a humorous, imaginative prequel to Peter Pan, telling the backstory of Peter Pan, Captain Hook, and Neverland. The story follows a lonely orphan, Boy, who, alongside Molly, a Starcatcher's daughter, protects a trunk of magical starstuff from the greedy pirate Black Stache. Through a fantastical high-seas adventure and encounters with island natives, the orphan transforms from a sad boy into the legendary figure we know as Peter Pan. | ||
